The shipping company was founded in 1968 under the name Corsica Line and boasts the first private ship which connected Corsica with Italy, the Corsica ferry Express. Since founding the company has added the connections to France and in 1981 was born on Sardinia Ferries mark, following the acquisition of the company TTE.
